Remembering … George Loomis, M.D

George Loomis, M.D., a longtime member of the UNMC Department of Internal Medicine, died Friday. He was 87.

George Loomis, M.D.

Dr. Loomis taught at UNMC from the 1960s through the 1980s.

A graveside service for Dr. Loomis will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at First Central Congregational Church, 421 S. 36th St.

Memorials should be made to First Central Congregational Church, Madonna School or Clarkson College.
