UNMC for the record

Below is a list of achievements, activities and happenings involving UNMC staff, faculty and students.

An opening reception and panel discussion of the “Finding a Voice” exhibition will be held at the Omaha Public Library downtown branch on Feb. 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The exhibit focuses the work of a UNMC Service Learning Project, in which medical center students from various colleges worked with homeless people at the Sienna Francis House. Interviews with homeless guests directed the development of health related activities at the house and and inspired homeless artists to “find their voices” and transform their lives.
