April 10 Spirit Day to feature fire dance

Grab your UNMC apparel and join your campus friends and colleagues on Tuesday, April 10 for UNMC’s Spring Fling on the Scott Student Plaza.

UNMC’s own Ken Hill will headline the event, which is an appreciation for the vital work and commitment shown by UNMC faculty, staff and students. His fire dance begins at noon on the UNMC Ice Rink

Watch UNMC’s Ken Hill and his renowned fire spinning talents, which will be on display on campus next week during UNMC’s annual Spring Fling on April 10.
A help desk analyst in Information Technology Services, Hill is the founder of Flowpulse, a nationally recognized fire spinning team. For the past two years, he has been included in the Circles of Light DVD, an international competition highlighting some of the best fire spinning from around the world.

Hill has taught at some of the largest fire spinning festivals in the United States. This year, he can be seen performing fire with Quixotic at such national music and yoga festivals as Wakarusa, Electric Forest and Wanderlust.
