Bridge to Care’s Sixth Annual Health Fair will provide free health screenings at Omaha’s World Refugee Day, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 20, at the Benson High School gym, 5120 Maple St.
Bridge to Care is an interprofessional, community-engaged and student-led legacy project of UNMC’s Service Learning Academy in the College of Public Health.
The health fair also will feature:
- dental screenings;
- vision screenings with free glasses for those in need;
- blood pressure screenings;
- blood sugar tests
- Body Mass Index (BMI); and
- health education.
