Developmental neuroscience faculty, fellows, students attend national conference
The UNMC Department of Developmental Neuroscience at the Munroe-Meyer Institute attended the annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience in Chicago in October. It featured approximately 29,000 attendees from 77 countries. Two students, two postdoctoral associates and four faculty from the department attended from the labs of Jyothi Arikkath, Ph.D., Anna Dunaevsky, Ph.D., and Woo-Yang Kim, Ph.D. They presented a total of six posters.

Drs. Gary Beck, Paul Paulman receive new appointments in College of Medicine
Gary Beck, Ph.D., director of the Office of Medical Education for the College of Medicine, has been appointed assistant dean for medical education. Paul Paulman, M.D., professor, UNMC Department of Family Medicine, has been promoted to associate dean for clinical skills and quality. Both appointments are effective immediately.
