The expertise of UNMC/Nebraska Medicine is scheduled to be featured on Marr 22’s “60 Minutes” program. A segment of the program will focus on COVID-19 and the nation’s response to the coronavirus.
A crew from “60 Minutes” — including anchor Bill Whitaker — spent much of Wednesday on the med center campus. Angela Hewlett, M.D., and Mark Rupp, M.D., were among those interviewed for the program. Crews also filmed at the Nebraska Public Health Lab and other locations on campus.
The hour-long program begins at 6 p.m. Central March 22 on CBS.
