UNMC and Nebraska Medicine information technology has an alert regarding wireless connectivity using Eduroam on Omaha and Scottsbluff campuses
IT is working on a resolution for last week’s impact to wireless for the Eduroam SSID only.
Today at 11:50 a.m., there will be a disruption to the Eduroam wireless SSID. All users on Eduroam will be kicked off the wireless network. Users will be able to re-log onto Eduroam after getting disconnected. The disconnection must be done during a time when there is a load of users on the wireless system to recreate the issue.
No other wireless SSIDs of MedCenter WiFi, MedCenter Guest or MedCenter IoT will be affected.
The information technology office apologizes for the short notice.
