UNMC and Nebraska Medicine information technology has another alert regarding wireless connectivity using Eduroam on the med center network.
IT has been working to resolve the impact to wireless for the Eduroam SSID only.
Today at 11:50 a.m., there will be a disruption to the Eduroam wireless SSID. All users on Eduroam will be kicked off the wireless network. Users will be able to re-log on to Eduroam after getting disconnected. The forced disconnection has to be done during a time when there is a load of users on the wireless in order to recreate the issue.
A resolution will be put into place during the disconnection.
No other wireless SSIDs of MedCenter WiFi, MedCenter Guest, or MedCenter IoT will be affected.
The information technology office apologizes for the short notice.
