Alert on Eduroam and MedCenter Guest wireless

UNMC and Nebraska Medicine information technology has an alert regarding wireless connectivity using Eduroam and MedCenter Guest on the med center network.

IT has been working on a resolution for a previous wireless issue for the Eduroam and MedCenter Guest SSIDs.

Today at 6:15 p.m., there will be a disruption to the Eduroam and MedCenter Guest wireless SSIDs. All users on Eduroam and MedCenter Guest will be kicked off the wireless network. Users will be able to log back on to Eduroam and MedCenter Guest after getting disconnected.

This will be the second time information technology has tried the recommended fix.

Wireless SSIDs of MedCenter WiFi, or MedCenter IoT will not be affected.

The information technology office apologizes for the short notice.
