Aisha Yapp will present “Let’s Talk about Stress and Time Management” on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at noon in the latest webinar in the Olson Center for Women’s Health Brown Bag lecture series. Yapp is a pre-doctoral intern with an anxiety focus for the Nebraska Medicine Department of Psychology.

Life is busy, and sometimes daily obligations can cause overwhelming feelings of stress. It is important to recognize the signs of stress in order to prevent the physical and emotional effects.

Yapp will explain the tools and strategies to manage time and improve work-life balance.

The event is free and open to the community. Nursing credit is available for $10. Register by calling the Olson Women’s Health Resource Center at 402-559-6345 or on Engage. The Zoom link will be emailed to registrants prior to the event.

In support of improving patient care, the activity has been planned and implemented by UNMC and the Olson Center for Women’s Health. UNMC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the health care team.
