Discount offered for ‘Return of the Jedi’ at the symphony

The Omaha Symphony is offering a discount to members of the UNMC community for “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi,” performed live to the film on Sunday, May 7, at 2 p.m. at the Holland Performing Arts Center. (Saturday night’s show is sold out.)

The Star Wars saga continues in Omaha with the beloved climax of the original trilogy. Watch “Return of the Jedi” as Ernest Richardson and the Omaha Symphony bring a live-to-picture performance of John Williams’ score.

The promotional code “UNMC23” offers a 20% discount to the show. The discount is valid for available seats in price levels 2-4. After a preferred show date is selected, the option “Get Tickets” will appear. Apply the promo code in the upper right-hand portion of the performance page. Prices automatically will adjust to reflect the discount. When viewing seats in a chosen section, click the “Legend” button on the right-hand side to view the seats for which the code applies. (Only valid on price levels 2-4.)

The Omaha Symphony has student rush tickets for $20 that are available one hour before showtime on a first-come, first-serve basis.

UNMC is a sponsor of the current season of the Movie Music series. To see other discounts offered to the UNMC community, check out the benefits page.
