State of Inclusion discussion set for Tuesday

Colleagues are invited to attend the second annual State of Inclusion, hosted by the Nebraska Medicine Inclusion and Diversity Office and the UNMC Office of Inclusion, on Tuesday, Sept. 12, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Durham Research Center auditorium.

“This event is a great opportunity for colleagues to not only learn more about the work the diversity and inclusion offices are doing here on campus, but also gain a better understanding of our employee resource groups,” said Shanda Ross, director of engagement, outreach and belonging at Nebraska Medicine.

Each ERG will have an opportunity to highlight their group and share their strategic goals and initiatives for the coming year. Following the presentations, attendees will have an opportunity to engage and network with each of the ERGs at their booths to learn more about their upcoming events and how to join. Booths will be located outside the auditorium.

Lunch will be provided to in-person attendees on a first-come, first served basis, while supplies last. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom option is available. Register here.

All UNMC, Nebraska Medicine and Clarkson College faculty, staff and students are welcome to join any of the ERGs.
