UNMC administrative professionals events set for April

UNMC administrative professionals will have two opportunities this year to celebrate their contributions with events at UNMC. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Lead From Where You Are.”

On April 3, UNMC will host an Administrative Professionals Day launch event featuring UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, and Deborah Dogba, founder and CEO of Business Seals Consulting Firm. They will share insights on leadership and celebrate administrative professionals’ accomplishments and achievements.

The event will be held both online and in person; in-person seating is limited. Sign up via the Bridge app – search for Administrative Professionals Day Launch.

People attending in person will need their UNMC badge to check in. A prize drawing will be held for those attending in-person and online.

On Administrative Professionals Day April 24, UNMC will celebrate with an event featuring Anne Barnes, UNMC’s vice chancellor for business, finance and business development.

Two in-person sessions will be held in the Truhlsen Events Center, one at 9 a.m. and the other at noon. The 9 a.m. event will include a virtual option. Registration is required via Bridge whether attending in person or virtually; search for Administrative Professionals Day Event and be sure to choose one session from the morning, afternoon or virtual options.

Seats are limited. A prize drawing will be held for those attending in-person and online.

Participants who attend in person must bring their UNMC badge to check in; doors open 15 minutes before each session. A light continental breakfast will be served during the morning session, and a light lunch will be served at noon.
