De-Stress Week kicks off with coffee and Earth Day

It’s Monday, but don’t stress – there is free coffee and tea in the Durham Research Center commons area this morning (while supplies last).

UNMC students, faculty and staff also are invited to participate in Earth Day activities today.

UNMC’s Healthy Earth Alliance will be in attendance at this morning’s snack break at the Durham Research Center with an Earth Day activity. To help create an Earth Day display, attendees can write on a sticky note a sustainable action they do. Sticky notes will be up the entire week.

At 11:30 a.m. at the Sorrell Center second-floor Alumni Commons*, a plant potting activity will be held in celebration of Earth Day. Attendees can plant a small succulent or cactus to take home (while supplies last). *Location has changed.
