Tree planting ceremony is Tuesday
A tree planting ceremony will be held Tuesday, Oct. 15, from noon to 1 p.m. on the green space north of Lozier Center for Pharmacy Science. The event is part of the October recognition of Campus Sustainability Month at UNMC.
HEAL is partnering with UNMC grounds to host the ceremony in an efforts to improve green spaces on campus while educating about campus sustainability efforts. Attendees can submit ideas for naming the tree, or submit an idea here. The event was rescheduled from its original date of Oct. 3 to Oct. 15.
