Registration open for symposium on PTSD

The UNMC Department of Neurological Sciences is pleased to offer a full-day symposium on post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, on June 6.

This event will feature leading experts in psychiatry, psychology, pharmacology and neuroimaging, offering in-depth discussions on the latest advancements in PTSD research and treatment. Presentations will address diagnostic challenges, current best practices in medication management and psychotherapy, as well as emerging trends in the care of adult patients with PTSD.

It offers an opportunity for professionals to engage with cutting-edge developments in the field and collaborate on future directions in PTSD care.

There is no fee to participate in this activity. However, registration is required.

The symposium will be held at the University of Nebraska at Omaha Scott Conference Center from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A livestream will be available via Zoom.

This accredited continuing education activity is designed for physicians, PhD researchers, advanced practice providers, psychologists, licensed mental health professionals and nurses who are involved in the care of patients with PTSD. Continuing education credits are available.
