2025 employee giving campaign kicks off today

Beginning today (Sept. 8), UNMC’s 2025 employee giving campaign has begun. The community needs the support — as do UNMC’s employees who live and work within the communities that UNMC serves.

Times are tough, and that’s why every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. By standing together, the UNMC community can support meaningful causes that align with its values and positively impact the communities it serves.

Below are the ways to participate.

United Way of the Midlands:

  • Donate via the email sent today from the United Way of the Midlands or click on this link. The link will lead to a UNMC single sign-on page.
  • Employees can sign in with their UNMC username and password. These should auto populate.
  • Once signed in, the employee will be directed to a personalized giving page.
  • Donate.
  • A “no pledge” option is available for employees who choose not to donate. Employees who are unable to contribute still are encouraged to access the ePledge website and submit a “no donation” response. A “no donation” response counts toward total employee participation. After an employee has submitted a donation or “no donation” response, United Way will stop sending campaign emails to your account.

Give Nebraska:

  • Click on this link. The link will go to UNMC’s Give Nebraska donation page.
  • Register and donate.

Donation options:

  • Employees can give by credit card on the online giving site, as well as through payroll deduction, cash or check.
  • Campaign pledges, which can be made through UNMC’s payroll deduction, are automatically withdrawn from the last check in December 2025 for biweekly paid employees and January 2026 for employees paid monthly.

Incentives:

  • Employees who participate (this includes donating or logging a “no donation” response) will be eligible to win a prize each week of the campaign. Donations made by Fridays at 3 p.m. qualify for that week’s drawing, as well as subsequent drawings.
  • Donations of a minimum of $20 will qualify to win Husker football tickets to the Oct. 4 game against Michigan State.
  • Drawing winners will be notified via email.
