Photographer Kiley Cruse and social media manager Aurelie Villard, both from UNMC Strategic Communications, took notice of fall on the UNMC Omaha campus. Cruse took a photo via drone of the campus green (and red and orange) space, while Villard posted the below fall images via a reel on Instagram.

Showing scheduled for ‘Now You See Us’

Pipeline Worldwide will present its short film “Now You See Us” during an event at the Catalyst building, 4601 Catalyst Court in EDGE District. The presentation, scheduled for Nov. 24 from 7-8 p.m., is hosted by the UNMC Global Center for Health Security and Pipeline Worldwide.

The film highlights the collaboration between the two organizations, who are advancing sustainable global health initiatives in Moyo, Uganda, one of the most remote, impoverished and at-risk regions in the world. The partnership is transforming how communities prepare for and respond to health challenges through innovation, training and resilient system of care.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and attendees are invited to Big Grove Brewery in the Catalyst before and after the presentation.

New seminar series

The UNMC College of Nursing’s Continuing interProfessional Development and Innovation (CiPDI) and the Nebraska Medicine Social Work Department have launched a new monthly webinar series aimed at advancing knowledge and collaboration across health care disciplines.

Held on Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m. Central Time, these webinars offer timely, expert-led discussions on pressing social and health care topics.

Participants can earn continuing education credit in both social work and nursing. The series is open to professionals across disciplines who are interested in deepening their understanding of complex care issues and enhancing interprofessional practice.
