Omaha Performing Arts is offering discounts on tickets to UNMC students and employees for upcoming select shows. Select shows include:

  • “Shucked The Musical,” Jan. 13-18. 10% discount on price levels 3, 4 and 5, plus reduced handling fees on all price levels. Valid for all performances except Saturdays. “Shucked” serves up a laugh‑packed, Tony Award–winning musical romp through Cob County, where quirky heroes, big hearts and a bushel of corn‑fueled comedy create an irresistibly fun night of theater.
  • “Save Ferris,” Jan. 16. 10% discount, plus reduced handling fees. The Orange County ska‑pop powerhouse performs in the Holland Music Club with explosive energy and high‑octane vocals that made the band a defining force of the third‑wave ska movement.
  •  “Batsu! America’s Live Japanese Game Show,” Jan. 29-31. 10% discount, plus reduced handling fees. Four fearless comedians face off in a wild, Japanese‑style gauntlet of outrageous challenges and over‑the‑top punishments, delivering a high‑energy, immersive comedy showdown.
  • “Cirque Kalabante: Afrique en Cirque,” Feb. 4. 10% discount, plus reduced handling fees. “Afrique en Cirque” bursts onto the stage with breathtaking acrobatics, vibrant live Afro‑jazz and the electrifying spirit of Guinean culture in a high‑energy celebration of strength, artistry and joy.
  • “Blade Runner Live,” Feb. 5. 10% discount, plus reduced handling fees. Experience “Blade Runner” like never before, as Ridley Scott’s iconic sci‑fi noir unfolds on an HD screen, brought to life with Vangelis’ score performed live by The Avex Ensemble.
  •  “A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical,” Feb. 10-15. 10% discount on price levels 3, 4, and 5, plus reduced handling fees on all price levels. Valid for all performances except Saturday and Sunday matinee. “A Beautiful Noise” follows Diamond’s rise from a Brooklyn kid to an American music icon in a thrilling musical powered by the timeless hits that defined his career.
  • “All Things Equal: The Life & Trials of Ruth Bader Ginsburg,” Feb. 26. 10% discount, plus reduced handling fees. “All Things Equal” brings Bader Ginsburg’s life to the stage in a compelling, funny and intimate portrait that traces her journey from determined young scholar to trailblazing U.S. Supreme Court justice. 
  •  “The New York Voices,” Feb. 27. 10% discount, plus reduced handling fees. “New York Voices” brings decades of unmatched harmony, artistry and jazz mastery to the stage, showcasing the world‑class musicianship that has made them one of the genre’s most celebrated vocal ensembles.
