How I fell in love with my field: I enjoy administrative and program coordination because it allows me to contribute to the bigger picture of the department and UNMC as a whole. I’m passionate about communicating with people and helping to streamline processes. I take pride in organization and truly enjoy collaborating with others to achieve shared goals.
Three things people may not know about me:
- I’m an avid reader who enjoys a variety of genres. I typically read over 65 books a year and finished over 73 in 2025.
- I love to travel and have visited Africa three times — it’s one of my favorite destinations and I’d love to go back with my family someday.
- I’ve hiked a 14,000-foot mountain (a “14er”) in Colorado, which was an incredible experience, and I’m excited to tackle more of them in the future.
