The Lied Center for Performing Arts is kicking off November with discounted tickets to two upcoming performances, available exclusively to UNMC employees and students.
Nov. 7: Stars of “Rent” Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp
Original “Rent” stars Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp return in a dynamic new duo show. Featuring songs that have influenced their lives and career-defining hits from Broadway smash “Rent,” this performance celebrates the legacy of two acclaimed performers whose credits include Broadway productions such as “Aida,” “Memphis,” “Something Rotten!” and “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” as well as television show “Star Trek: Discovery.”
Nov. 13: One Vision of Queen, featuring Marc Martel
Chosen by Queen’s surviving members, Marc Martel brings the iconic voice of Freddie Mercury to Omaha. For two hours, audiences will be transported back to 1975 to experience live performances of Queen classics including “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “We Will Rock You”, “Somebody to Love” and more, backed by a full band. This powerful tribute celebrates the music and legacy of Freddie Mercury, recreating the sound and energy that made him one of rock’s most legendary performers.
