ITS seeks cause of Monday’s phone disruption

Due to an unknown network problem, telephone services experienced intermittent problems campus wide from 10:52 a.m. to approximately 1:10 p.m. on Monday.

Calls either did not connect or were dropped during conversation.

A network switch was rebooted at 1:05 p.m. to clear the problem. Telephone services are back to normal. ITS is investigating the problem further to find the root cause.
