Current and emerging trends in online learning in health science education are the focus of a June 6 conference being held at UNMC.
Hosted by the Online Learning Consortium, a non-profit dedicated to integrating online education into mainstream higher education, the conference is co-hosted by the University of Nebraska Online Worldwide, UNMC E-Learning and the UNMC Office of Academic Affairs.
Keynote speakers will offer their views on the use of technology, economic realities, increasing regulatory oversight, innovation and societal expectations. Presentations will be followed by facilitator-led discussions.
The event will be held in the Sorrell Center’s Truhlsen Events Center.
