Participate in the 2019 Nebraska Science Festival

Share your excitement for science with others at the 2019 Nebraska Science Festival student expo on April 26 at The Durham Museum.

UNMC faculty, staff and students are encouraged to provide a hands-on, kid-friendly science booth at the free science expo.

The statewide event draws thousands of people of all ages with an interest in science and technology-related activities. A variety of booths will be needed for the following April 26 student expos, held at the museum at 801 S. 10th St. in Omaha. There is no charge to participate.

As the presenting sponsor, UNMC encourages all faculty, staff and students to consider how they might participate and share their expertise. In the past, medical center participants have included the department of otolaryngology, the human genetics laboratory, hyberbaric medicine, pediatric dentistry, the UNMC Makers Club and clinical laboratory science.

To get involved, or for more information, visit the website or contact Kacie Gerard.

The Nebraska Science Festival began in 2013 as an initiative of UNMC, which continues to administer the festival with the assistance of a number of organizations and individuals interested in the advancement of science literacy. The goal: make science accessible, interactive, relevant and fun for kids and adults alike.
