Forno, a new Italian restaurant in the Blackstone District, is now offering lunch. UNMC and Nebraska Medicine employees and students can receive a 15% discount when they present their badge for lunch visits only. Lunch will be served Tuesday through Sunday.
Several other Blackstone District restaurants offer discounts to the med center community as well.
During happy hour, all UNMC and Nebraska Medicine employees and students may present their ID badge to get one free happy hour drink at the following Blackstone District restaurants: Red Lion Lounge, Stirnella Bar & Kitchen, and Butterfish (a new sushi restaurant set to open this fall).
This offer is valid every day of the week during happy hour only. (Restaurants designate their own happy hours.)
Ansel’s Pastrami and Bagels, is also offering 10 percent off each order to employees and students who present their badge.
