Anthony Davis, composer of Opera Omaha’s “Wakonda’s Dream” discusses the creative process behind the opera in the Durham Outpatient Center’s West Atrium on Thursday.

Davis played pieces from the opera as well as some of his previous work during the noontime performance.

“Wakonda’s Dream” made its world premiere Wednesday night at the Orpheum Theater.

The opera, which is sponsored by UNMC, has two more Omaha performances, one tonight and a final show on Sunday. Call the Opera Omaha box office at 346-7372 for ticket information.
