The UNMC Faculty Senate held elections Monday.
The new officers are President Gordon Todd, Ph.D., professor in the department of genetics, cell biology and anatomy; Vice President and President-elect James Turpen, Ph.D., professor in the department of genetics, cell biology and anatomy; Secretary-Treasurer Karen Honeycutt, assistant professor in the School of Allied Health Professions; and Nancy Woelfl, Ph.D., director and professor in the UNMC McGoogan Library of Medicine, who will continue as parliamentarian.
