Rita Haye, who spent 17 years in UNMC’s Human Resources office, died May 22. She was 76. Haye joined UNMC in June 1973 as a secretarial specialist in human resources. She served as administrative assistant and program coordinator before retiring in 1990.
She is survived by a son, Paul, and brother, Arden Swisher, both of Omaha. She was buried in Vermillion, S.D. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
