Third time’s a charm

Jean Thierfelder, M.D., front with the treat dish, and several other UNMC Physicians employees gathered at the Turner Park Health Clinic on Saturday to distribute gifts to the families of indigent patients who are seen at the clinic.

This marked the third consecutive year Turner Park employees collected and distributed gifts to needy families.

The employees gathered at the clinic and then delivered the gifts to the families’ homes. Twenty-one families received gifts as a result of this year’s toy drive.
