Music as Medicine to feature chamber music

A violin player and pianist from the Omaha Chamber Music Society will perform during today’s Music as Medicine concert at noon in the Durham Outpatient Center Atrium.

Amy Sims will be on violin and Christi Zuniga will play piano during the performance, which will feature pieces from Handel, Strauss, Schubert and John Williams.

Sims is the concertmaster of the Omaha Symphony and Zuniga is the symphony’s principal keyboardist.

The public is invited to the bring lunch and enjoy the concert, which is sponsored by UNMC Physicians.

The June Music as Medicine concert will feature the Bel Canto Choir and will be sponsored by the College of Medicine.
