UNMC/NHS employees are invited to commemorate the events of Sept. 11, on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 8:30 a.m. in the Swanson Courtyard. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be in the Durham Outpatient Center West Lobby Atrium.
The event will include a presentation of the flag by the Benson High School color guard and comments from UNMC Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D., NHS CEO and President Glenn Fosdick, and the Rev. Deb Boucher Payne. A moment of silence will be observed followed by “Amazing Grace” played on a bagpipe.
