As of Tuesday, UNMC employees had raised $125,595 during the 2008 United Way fund drive. That total is about 89 percent of the campus goal of $140,980.
Also as of Tuesday, about 29 percent of UNMC employees had participated in this year’s drive. UNMC’s goal is 100 percent participation in the drive, which wraps up Friday.
“Our donation goal is within reach and I’m sure if the entire campus participates in the drive that we can meet it,” said Jillian Carson, UNMC’s United Way campaign manager.
