Student Senate elections Nov. 11-12

Ballots will be cast this week for another presidential election.

But, this time, UNMC students will vote for a new Student Senate president, who also will serve as a non-voting member of the University of Nebraska Board of Regents; as well as a student senate vice president and senators from the various colleges.

Elections will be Tuesday, Nov. 11 and Wednesday, Nov. 12 from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. in Wittson Hall Lobby, near the 42nd Street entrance. The Faculty Women’s Club will staff the election booth again this year.

A student ID or driver’s license is required to vote.

Students in contention for president and vice president:

  • Bradley Bohn for president (M3)
  • Andrew Klutman for vice president (M2)

Students in contention for senator positions from the College of Medicine — students will vote for six:

  • Derrick Antoniak (M1)

Students in contention for senator positions from Graduate Studies (the college needs 11, but only six are running so the remainder will be elected as write-ins):

Students in contention for a senator position in the College of Pharmacy — students will vote for one:
