Holiday tea warms hearts on a cold day

While the mercury hovered around 4 degrees Fahrenheit outside, medical center employees stayed warm inside the Durham Outpatient Center West Atrium during the Chancellor’s Holiday Tea on Monday.

Cookies, cheese cubes, cider and conversation helped attendees forget about the cold outside.

Hundreds of people stepped away from their work for a bit to enjoy the treats and colorful decor at the tea, which serves as an annual primer for the holiday season on campus.
