Regenerative medicine director search has internal focus

The search for a leader of the new UNMC Program in Regenerative Medicine will continue with a focus upon the medical center’s research community.

“This program is a key to advancing our research agenda into new, life-saving cures in 21st-century medicine,” said Tom Rosenquist, Ph.D., vice chancellor for research. “We need a leader who has a broad appreciation of the status and the promise of regenerative medicine, and who understands the biology of embryonic stem cells.”

UNMC scientists interested in being considered for the position may send their CVs by e-mail to Dr Rosenquist at trosenq@unmc.edu.

The search is being conducted by Dr. Rosenquist and John Gollan, M.D., Ph.D., dean of the College of Medicine.
