Walgreens pharmacies will continue to serve customers with CVS Caremark prescription drug coverage.
CVS Caremark — which provides prescription drug coverage in the University of Nebraska benefits package — and Walgreens have reached agreement that negates recent reports that Walgreens would discontinue service to Caremark customers.
This means employees and plan members may continue to obtain prescriptions at Walgreens and other pharmacies that participate in the CVS Caremark national network, which includes more than 64,000 retail pharmacies.
As long as you fill your prescription at a network pharmacy, including Walgreens, your regular co-payment will not change.
