The UNMC and Nebraska Medical Center campus shuttle program continues to adapt based on ridership.
Starting Monday, May 5, based on passenger flow data and usage, only one shuttle will run in the afternoons, and that shuttle will exclusively run in the opposite direction of the morning routes to better meet the needs of those who ride the shuttle.
The posted shuttle times on the signs are estimated arrival/departure, and due to all the MUD utility work around the med center, the arrival and departure at each shuttle stop may vary slightly.
To see the latest updates to the shuttle routes, or to see where the shuttle is along the route, go to this shuttle webpage. Or download the app, “TransLoc,” from either the Google Play (Android devices) or the Apple App Store on a personal mobile device. Or download it via this QR code.
When opening the app for the first time, choose “UNMC Shuttle.” Users then will be able to see the shuttle routes and how far away a shuttle is via GPS tracking.
Shuttle rides are free and operate from Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. If a colleague is leaving work outside the shuttle operating schedule and would like to be escorted by security, call public safety at 402-559-5111.
