Registration remains open for the 2025 Nebraska Drug Discovery and Development Pipeline (ND3P) symposium on June 25-26.
A collaborative platform, the ND3P brings University of Nebraska researchers together, in partnership with the private sector, to advance drug candidates toward FDA approval. The two-day, virtual symposium is free and open to faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students, and industry partners.
“The symposium aims to recruit the best scientific minds working in areas applicable to drug discovery and development,” said Don Ronning, PhD, professor in the department of pharmaceutical sciences in the UNMC College of Pharmacy. “This includes researchers spanning areas of basic biomedical research to those translating their research to clinical trials.”
Dr. Ronning said this year’s program includes a Nobel Laureate, one of the world’s most influential Alzheimer’s disease researchers, featured speakers from UNMC and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and panels discussing large team research in academia and industrial biomedical research and development.
“It really has something for everyone,” he said.
The symposium runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 25 and from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 26.
