Navigating DynaMedex changes

Dual emblem that says UNMC Nebraska Medicine

Earlier this month, Nebraska Medicine and UNMC announced that DynaMedex will replace UpToDate as the institution’s primary clinical decision support tool on Tuesday, July 1.

Transitions like this can bring both excitement and uncertainty. For anyone either eager to explore DynaMedex or feeling hesitant about the change, the goal is that they feel supported every step of the way.

What’s changing

  • UpToDate access will end on Monday, June 30.
  • DynaMedex will be available starting July 1 through One Chart, a Nebraska Medicine and UNMC online portal, desktop computers and the DynaMedex mobile app.
  • All users who have access to UpToDate will automatically have access to DynaMedex.

Training and support

To help familiarize providers with DynaMedex, these resources are available:

  • Self-guided tutorials, videos and tip sheets on the DynaMedex Teams site.
  • Live training sessions (20 to 30 minutes) with Q&A opportunities. These sessions are open to all and tailored to different roles. Recordings of all sessions will be posted on the DynaMedex Teams site for on-demand viewing.
