The Family Room and the UNMC College of Nursing will celebrate the launch of familyroom.health with an art exhibit spotlighting one of Omaha’s premier artists.
Familyroom.health is a free resource that provides simple tips, tools and community support for families in the ICU.
The launch party kicks off at 4 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the Hoff Family Arts and Culture Center in Council Bluffs. The event will feature never-before-seen works from Omaha artist Eduardo Gardea. Breanna Hetland, co-founder and CEO of Family Room, said the showcase the experiences and reality of those who care for others.
Aside from the showcase, the evening will include a performance by the UNO jazz ensemble, hors d’oeuvres and an opportunity for attendees to share their stories with one another.
