UNMC Human Resources invites all UNMC employees to the quarterly employee appreciation event on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Center for Healthy Living.

The “Here’s Looking At You” event celebrates all UNMC employees, highlighting the dedication, innovation and hard work that have driven UNMC’s continued success.

From behind-the-scenes excellence to frontline leadership, the event will spotlight the amazing people who make it all happen.

“Each UNMC employee brings strengths, perspectives and passion that drive our organization,” said Austin Larson, learning and development specialist with UNMC Human Resources. “Thank you for the work that you do.”

All UNMC employees are encouraged to attend this quarter’s event, which will feature academic unit booths, food and drink samples, entertainment, opportunities for prizes and more. At 2:15 p.m., employees can hear from Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, and Linda Cunningham, assistant vice chancellor and director of human resources.

Volunteers play an integral role in the success of this event and are encouraged to sign up to assist.

“Volunteers are at the heart of our campus community,” Cunningham said. “Their generosity, time and spirit of service make UNMC a better place for all of us. We are deeply grateful for their contributions and the meaningful impact they have on our mission every day.”

Employees interested in volunteering at the event should complete this form.

People who are attending should bring their UNMC ID to badge in. Doors open at 2 p.m.
