Registration and abstract submission are open for the 57th Annual Midwest Student Biomedical Research Forum, which will be held on March 7 at the Mike and Josie Harper Center at Creighton University.

Visit the 2026 research forum website to register. Upon completing registration, registrants will receive a confirmation email that grants access to the abstract submission page.

Any medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy or other health professions student, graduate, intern and resident in programs across the Midwest are welcome to submit their biomedical research.

The forum is an opportunity to present research as an oral or poster presentation and have the work reviewed by faculty outside UNMC.

Top winners in each category will receive up to $1,000 in awards.

 Abstract submission details:

  • All abstracts will undergo a review process that is similar to the process used by major scientific journals.
  • Each student is allotted one submission.
  • Abstract and submission requirements can be foundĀ here.

Registration and abstract submission close on Friday, Dec. 12. Registration for students is reduced again this year and costs $75.
