Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, invites UNMC faculty, staff and students to a special all-campus forum on Friday, Jan. 16, to discuss and answer questions that stem from Thursday’s University of Nebraska Board of Regents meeting.
The regents will meet Thursday, Jan. 15, at 9 a.m. to consider a proposal to shift Nebraska Medicine from dual-member governance by the University of Nebraska and Clarkson Regional Health Services (CRHS) to single-member governance by the University of Nebraska. The meeting will take place in the boardroom at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St., as well as via livestream.
On Friday, Dr. Davies will brief the UNMC community on possible actions taken by the regents, as well as answer questions. The all-campus forum will be from noon to 1 p.m. in the Sorrell Center, Room 1005. The forum also will be available via Zoom; the link can be found on the campus intranet.
Attendees can ask questions during the forum or in advance by emailing the UNMC Strategic Communications team. An American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.
