Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, invites UNMC faculty, staff and students to a special all-campus forum today (Jan. 16) to discuss and answer questions that stem from Thursday’s University of Nebraska Board of Regents meeting.
Thursday, the regents unanimously approved a proposed transaction that would transition Nebraska Medicine from dual-member governance as Clarkson Regional Health Services (CRHS) withdraws and the University of Nebraska becomes the sole member.
At today’s forum, Dr. Davies will brief the UNMC community on the decision by the regents, as well as answer questions. The all-campus forum will be from noon to 1 p.m. in the Sorrell Center, Room 1005. The forum also will be available via Zoom; the link can be found on the campus intranet.
Attendees can ask questions during the forum or in advance by emailing the UNMC Strategic Communications team. An American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.
