UNMC Human Resources will hold an employee appreciation event today (March 5) to honor all of UNMC’s superhero employees.
The “UNMC Employee Appreciation Day – Superheroes Among Us” event will be held in the Truhlsen Campus Events Center from noon to 1:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the UNMC Office of the Chancellor.
“Employees at UNMC take the ordinary to extraordinary every day,” said Linda Cunningham, assistant vice chancellor and director of UNMC Human Resources. “They consistently go above and beyond in supporting our mission and are truly everyday superheroes. This event allows us to celebrate those heroes and recognize their contributions to the university.”
Attendees can receive a boxed lunch from Jason’s Deli, grab some popcorn, visit a 360-degree photobooth, play interactive trivia and more. Giveaways, food and drinks will be available while supplies last.
Employees will be asked to badge in at the event and should bring their UNMC employee ID badge.
Employees who are unable to attend still can join the fun by completing this online form and listing their favorite superhero for a chance to win a prize.
Employees at other UNMC campuses will receive separate event details.
