Cascade, the content management system through which the UNMC website is managed, will be down Friday, March 20, possibly for the entire day. This means that there will be no ability to make changes to the website on Friday.
The Cascade server is moving to Cloud Computing Services-Amazon Web Services. This requires Cascade to be shut down for the day.
Starting around 8 am, cms.unmc.edu will be turned off. There are several processes required for this move. For this reason, content managers are asked to not log into Cascade on Friday.
When the server work is complete and it is safe to log in and make edits, Jeff Sterup will send a message to content managers and post in the UNMC Web Content Developers Teams site.
