UNMC’s Smitha Mathew, MBBS, will present “Unhappy Feet: Understanding Common Foot Problems in Women (and Men!)” at the next Olson Center Brown Bag.
Dr. Mathew, an assistant professor in the UNMC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation, will explore common foot problems in women, including bunions, heel pain, flat arches, Achilles issues and ankle sprains. She will offer simple, practical tips on footwear, stretches and daily care so people can keep their feet healthy, comfortable and pain-free.
This virtual event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, from noon to 1 p.m.
