Registrations ends soon for nursing’s pharmacology conference

The UNMC College of Nursing’s Continuing interProfessional Development and Innovation office will host the 31st annual Pharmacology Conference for Advanced Practice Providers on July 9-10.

The conference will provide state-of-the-art clinical information about pharmacology to manage selected, complex, acute and chronic patient populations across the life span. It is targeted at nurse practitioners, advanced practice nurses, physician associates, primary care providers, and other interested healthcare professionals.

This year’s conference provides pharmacology education covering:

  • Infectious diseases and immunology
  • Endocrine disorders and weight management
  • Opioid management and safe prescribing
  • Current prescribing and regulatory updates

The cost for this event is $120 for one day or $220 for both days. For more information and to register, visit the conference webpage. Registration includes breakfast, lunch and continuing education credit.

A bonus pediatric pharmacology session will be offered on Saturday, July 11, in partnership with the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

These sessions will be available via Zoom and will not be recorded. Two-day registrants can sign up for the Saturday session for free. Otherwise, registration costs $30 for NAPNAP members or $40 for non-members.
