At the Munroe-Meyer Institute, community is at the heart of everything we do. As I reflect on the work happening throughout MMI, I am filled with gratitude and pride for the fiercely loyal, passionate and generous community that surrounds our institute. MMI is much more than a building or an organization — it is a collective commitment to partnering with individuals and families as they pursue their dreams, achieve their goals and create lives filled with purpose, opportunity and belonging. That commitment is reflected in the individuals, families, faculty, staff, donors, advocates and community partners who have invested their time, talents, resources and trust in our shared mission.
Our community has helped build not only the physical spaces where we learn, heal, discover and grow, but also the foundation that supports innovation, education, research and clinical care. Through philanthropy, partnership, and collaboration, countless people have come together to create opportunities that expand access to services, advance discovery, prepare future leaders and strengthen the supports available to individuals and families across Nebraska and beyond.
I am incredibly proud to work at MMI and to witness firsthand the impact we make together every day. The dedication of our colleagues, the resilience of those we serve and the unwavering support of our partners inspire us to continue reaching higher and doing more.
