With the addition of the University of Nebraska at Kearney, every University of Nebraska campus with a student health clinic now operates under the Nebraska Medicine umbrella. It’s a unified system of care serving more than 50,000 students across four campuses.
For students, that means expert care from Nebraska Medicine physicians and providers right where they live and learn, with expanded scheduling, payment options, and access to services tailored to each campus. Depending on location, students can find primary care, pharmacy, dental, physical therapy, radiology, and psychiatric services.
The Student Health Center at UNK, the newest addition, is housed in the university’s new health sciences building and rounds out a footprint that now spans Lincoln, Omaha, UNMC and Kearney. Bringing all four clinics under one system reflects a broader goal of consistent, high-quality Nebraska Medicine care no matter which campus a student calls home.
Students are also connected to OneChart, the Nebraska Medicine unified care record, so their health history follows them between campuses and into care after graduation, whether they transfer schools, move on to graduate programs or stay with Nebraska Medicine after college.
